Assault near Shepton
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a serious assault took place at the Bath & West Showground. Three men were assaulted at the Westfest event at approximately 2.30am on Sunday 29 October. Two of the men were treated at hospital for facial injuries, including a fractured ear bone, but have both since been released home.
Police believe the incident involved a confrontation about a taxi at the edge of the showground site.
The Police say the area was busy at the time and officers are appealing for anyone with footage or information that may help their investigation to come forward. They are also asking any taxis in the area at the time to check for dashcam footage.
