SWR the train company that provides train services to Templecombe, Yeovil Junction and Crewkerne will be improving their service. They have announced a new train timetable from Sunday 10 December. Whilst it will not restore the train service to and from London Waterloo to pre COVID levels, more trains are always welcome.

The new service will include two new train weekday services to Waterloo via Templecombe, Yeovil Junction and Crewkerne. These will be the 0620 from Honiton and 0641 from Exeter St Davids.

In the other direction from Waterloo there will be three new services weekday to Yeovil Junction:

• The 0950 London Waterloo to Yeovil Junction via Westbury, calling at all stations from Basingstoke to Salisbury (we understand these will not call at Templecombe)
• The 1550 London Waterloo to Yeovil Junction via Gillingham, calling at all stations from Basingstoke to Salisbury (which will stop at Templecombe)
• The 1851 London Waterloo to Yeovil Pen Mill
