Yeovil collision – renewed witness appeal
Avon & Somerset Police are appealing for witnesses to help their investigation into a collision in Yeovil. At around 9.50pm on Wednesday 5 July, officers were called to the junction of Preston Road and Westfield Road. That followed a serious collision between a car and a motorbike. The vehicles were a grey Volkswagen Polo and green and black Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, in his 30s, was taken to hospital with serious leg, head and arm injuries. He remains in hospital. His injuries are potentially life-changing.
Police are appealing to anyone who might have witnessed the collision to come forward. Anyone in the area who might have dashcam footage of the collision should also contact the Police.
