Appeal after man injured in Taunton
Police were called to the underpass between Victoria Gate and Leycroft Road at about 7.30am on Sunday 18 June. A passer-by found an injured man and a woman who was unhurt. The man, who is in his forties, could not account for how he came by fractures to his cheekbone and ribs. Nor could the woman he was.
At this stage it’s not clear whether the injuries are the result of an accident or an assault. Officers are keen to establish how the man came by his injuries.
