Ilminster road works
Somerset Council will be repairing a section of Station Road in Ilminster starting on Thursday 22 June. Station Road will be closed overnight for the duration of the roadworks. As it is an important road linking the town to the A303, drivers should expect evening and morning delays.
The roadworks will cover the section of Station Road running from the Southfields roundabout back along the B3168 to the roundabout on Station Road.
The roadworks will take place from 22 June and are expected to finish by 30 June. During the works the road will be closed between 6pm and 7am on weekdays. Somerset Council say no work will take place on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 June.
The council say that access for residents and businesses in the immediate area will be maintained throughout. There will also be an official diversion in place,
