Men charged over Frome incident
Four men are to appear before Bath Magistrates Court tomorrow (Friday 9 June) in connection with an incident in Frome last year. The incident involved a coach carrying students from Frome College. The coach overturned on the B3090 Oldford Hill on the edge of Frome on 28 November, 2022. A number of students were taken to hospital for treatment following the incident.
The four men, all employees of Arleen’s Coaches have each been charged with a Section 40A offence. Specifically the alleged use of a motor vehicle in a condition likely to cause injury. The four are Christopher Giles, 33 of Trowbridge, Justin Spiller, 39 Kristian Spiller, 38 and Alan Spiller, 66 all of Peasedown St John.
