Hit and run in Cheddar
Avon & Somerset Police are appealing for more witnesses to come forward after a hit and run incident in Cheddar. The incident happened at about 7pm on Saturday 11 March. A car heading in the direction of Wedmore Road along Lower New Road was in collision with a 37-year-old woman. The woman was using a pedestrian crossing at the time. The victim suffered a fractured pelvis and needed hospital treatment.
The car failed to stop at the scene. The victim reports that one of the car’s headlights was out.
