Safe stolen in Cheddar burglary

Avon & Somerset Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a burglary in Cheddar. The burglary took place a couple of weeks ago on 23 January. Police want the public’s help to progress their enquiries.

The incident happened at around 8.45pm in the Cliffs area of the town. Police believe there were two offenders involved. They were wearing facial coverings and using a silver car. The car was seen in the Cheddar area shortly afterwards with the safe sticking out of the boot.

Police believe the car would have been seen by others in the town at the time of the incident. Anyone with dashcam footage, or any CCTV/doorbell footage, from that night is asked to come forward.
