Assault in Taunton – witness appeal
At around 1.45pm on Tuesday 12 July, a man was assaulted following an altercation about a vehicle. The offender exited his vehicle and chased the victim down and assaulted him on East Reach, in Taunton. Witnesses came to the aid of the man after he was assaulted. The victim sustained cuts and scratches to his neck, shoulders and face and had a mild concussion.
Avon & Somerset Police would like to speak to those who helped the victim. They’d like to speak to anyone who witnessed the assault.
The offender was a white man, aged 50-60 years old. He was wearing a blue long-sleeved top, jeans and dark shoes.
