Wells post office moves again!
After several years of uncertainty, the Wells Post Office found a new home at Natural Pets on Queen Street. That was in September last year. Unfortunately the current post master is having to retire due to ill health. So the Post Office at Natural Pets will cease to operate at 5pm on Friday 1 July.
This leaves wells with another temporary Post Office. Having used the Bus Station in the past, the Post Office have decided to return there. It has the advantage of being relatively easy to set up again based on the last experience. The post master from Glastonbury will take over the operation until a more permanent solution is found.
The new service will open at the Bus Station on Tuesday 5 July from 1pm. The opening hours will be Monday to Friday: 9am – 4.30pm; Saturday: 9am – 12.30pm.
