Bridgwater assault – can you help
Avon & Somerset Police are asking the public for help as part of their enquiries into an assault in Bridgwater. The incident took place outside the Palace Nightclub, in Penel Orlieu, at about 3am on Saturday 19 February.
A man, in his 20s, was attacked by a number of males. He suffered a broken nose and minor facial injuries, which required treatment at Musgrove Park Hospital.
The incident is being treated as a racially-aggravated assault and as a suspected hate crime.
Police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to interview. Anyone who witnessed the incident or who recognises the man in the image should call 101. Please give the reference number 5222041445.
