Incident in Tesco Car Park, Yeovil

Avon & Somerset Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident in Yeovil last week. Last Thursday (10 March) at around 4.45pm/5pm items were thrown from the top floor of the Tesco car park in Yeovil. The objects, which included a brick, were thrown onto a zebra crossing below. This is the crossing between Westminster Street and the Tesco store in Huish.

The projectiles narrowly missed members of the public. They nearly hit a 10-month old baby in a pushchair.

Police believe there were two offenders involved. Did you see them? Both were wearing dark clothing. Did you have dash cam footage at the car park at the time. If so could you check to see if you may have recorded the offenders or the incident? If you can help, please call the Police on 101 and give the call handler the reference number 5222058085.
