Bridgwater drop in

Bridgwater has one of the lowest levels of vaccination take up in Somerset. Town Council Leader Brian Smedley explains: “Take up remains poor and we have to urgently address this.”

To this end the town council have lent office space at the Town Hall for the NHS to run a vaccination drop in centre. The space was offered for free as the town council believe this is now of paramount importance for the community.

The NHS have agreed to operate from the Town Hall today until 5pm and tomorrow 9 to 5. They have been offered the facility for next week and onwards but as yet the NHS have not confirmed.

Anyone over 12 can get jabbed. So 1st, 2nd and boosters are being offered for those that are eligible.
