This testing site is situated in part of the car park but will not affect the day to day running of the Village Hall. The new testing site opened on Monday, September 6. It is only available to those with Covid-19 symptoms:

Anyone with one or more of these symptoms can get a test at the site. To book go to nhs.uk/coronavirus or call 119. Booking is essential. The site will operate from 9am to 3.30pm, five days a week. It will be in place for at least the next few months.

Taunton

Plans are now in place to move the vaccination centre from Taunton Racecourse to a new site at Firepool. The move is due to take place in early October.
Pre-booked vaccination appointments and walk-ins will continue to run at the Racecourse until the new site is ready. The Racecourse is open seven days a week between 8.30am and 7pm. People aged 17 can book a slot through the National Booking Service. If you are aged 16 and over – you can walk-in to get a Pfizer jab without booking first.
Over the next few weeks, work will take place to prepare the new centre at Firepool. The new centre will be created using specially designed portacabins. When the new site is ready, the Racecourse site will close.
Existing vaccination teams and many volunteers from the Racecourse site will move across to Firepool.
