Bridgwater dealers sentenced
Two men have been jailed for helping bring class A drugs into Bridgwater. They were convicted of being part of a so-called county lines operation. The two were arrested followed a joint operation between Avon and Somerset Police and the Met Police. The criminal activity spanned a six-month period between May and October 2020.
Robert Risvegli, 22 and Kane Sinclair 23, appeared at Taunton Crown Court on Monday (27 January). Both men are from London and were convicted of being involved in the supply of cocaine and heroin. Risvegli received six years and three months’ imprisonment. Sinclair received two years and seven months’ imprisonment.
DI Scott Chadwick, of Operation Remedy, told us “This was a county line network which targeted some of the most vulnerable people in our society…. We estimate this network supplied approximately 1.6 kg of class A drugs over a six-month period, with a street value of approximately £162,000.”
