Yeovil Hospital wins funding

The latest tranche of funds for the NHS under the Build Back Better scheme has been announced.

Yeovil District Hospital has been awarded £1m to help fund 5 projects. This will allow management to update and improve the Hospital.

A spokesperson for Yeovil Hospital told The Leveller “This injection of Government funding will enable us to invest in upgrades to the Yeovil Hospital site, creating a lasting environment to support the high level of care we provide to our patients each year.

The funding will pay for a number of key Trust-wide projects including the replacement of the two main patient hospital bed lifts, essential roofing work, improving the electrical infrastructure of the Women’s Hospital and overall infrastructure of the main tower block.

The investment will ensure that the hospital can continue to provide our patients and staff with the facilities they need to be there for you when you need them.”
