Burglary in Glastonbury

Avon & Somerset Police are appealing for witnesses after a case of forced entry in Glastonbury. Two men forced there way into a property on the Wells Road at 5.15 on the evening of 1 December.

The thieves were disturbed as they forced their way in, and ran off in the direction of the town centre. Police believe they then made their escape in a car parked in the town centre. The vehicle was a new car and as it drove off it pulled out in front of a number of other vehicles.

Did you see any part of the incident. Did you see the men attempting to break into the house on Wells Road? Do you remember seeing a car swerving into traffic in a hurry in the town centre?
