Thief steals Bridgwater woman’s lifetime possessions
Police are appealing for help after a thief made off with all of a Bridgwater woman’s possessions. The incident took place on Tuesday (10 November). At just after 11 in the morning the victim had just had all her things loaded into the van to move house. The white Ford transit van, registration KN60 BFP was parked near the Londis on Taunton Road, Bridgwater. the thief jumped into the van and drove off with it.
The victim was in her 60s and visibly distressed by the theft. The van contained personal items of huge sentimental value. Not only that but also furniture, clothing, household goods and personal papers. She described it as “her whole life”.
Since then her handbag has turned up by the river Parrett at Aller. It was handed in to Police by a member of the public.
