Another assault in Yeovil

Avon & Somerset Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after an assault in Yeovil. The incident took place in the early hours of this morning (Thursday 15 October). It is the second assault in the town in just over a week.

This morning’s incident took place in St Michael’s Avenue. Police believe it was about 4.25 in the morning when a man was stabbed several times. He was immediately taken to hospital by paramedics. Officers have been patrolling the area today to reassure the public. They are also conducting enquiries to find witnesses to the incident.

 The Police have confirmed that the injuries the man sustained were not life-threatening or life-changing.
