Theft in Taunton

The Police have launched an appeal for the public to help. It follows a serious incident in Taunton at the start of the month. A man in his 50s was walking along Station Road in Taunton just around midnight on Saturday 2 August.

He was approached by three men, two of whom held him by the arms and seized a black leather wallet. The wallet contained a quantity of cash and his bank cards. The men who accosted him are described as white, in their 40s and wearing dark clothing and baseball caps.

They fled in the direction of the railway station.
