Cheddar accident

We are sorry to report yet another collision involving a motorcycle. As with the Wellington incident we reported 2 days ago, this took place on Friday 31st July. The incident occurred around 1.40pm when the motorcyclist came off his bike while travelling on the B3135 Plummers Lane.

The motorcyclist, a man in his 50s, was taken to Southmead Hospital, Bristol. He continues to receive treatment for injuries which the Police tell us are not believed to be life threatening or life changing.

The Police believe that three vehicles may have seen the motorcyclist before the accident. They would like to speak to the occupants of two cars which the occupants of a camper-type van which was travelling in the opposite direction.
