Glastonbury Incident – Arrests

Three men were arrested yesterday (2nd June) following an incident in Glastonbury.

At around 12.10pm yesterday afternoon a male pedestrian was in collision with a car at Pound Close, a suburban street to the north of the town centre. The pedestrian was taken to hospital and remains in a critical, but stable, condition.

Subsequently Dorset Police stopped a vehicle in Poole at 6.50pm in the evening. Acting in co-ordination with Avon & Somerset Police, two males and one female were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. 

The three detained people will be transported back to the Avon & Somerset force area while enquiries continue into the incident.
