Fight at Yeovil pub
Yeovil seems to be in the news a lot this week, and unfortunately for all the wrong reasons. Avon & Somerset Police are appealing for witnesses after an incident outside a Yeovil pub.
There was what Police are describing as a “a public order incident” at The Royal Standard and Larkhall Road, Yeovil.
It happened at about 4.20pm on Saturday 29 February. Reports suggest an altercation between around six customers of The Royal Standard pub spilled out into Larkhall Road.
A 36-year-old man went to hospital for treatment to facial injuries. He was discharged from hospital later that day.
Officers have carried out house-to-house and CCTV enquiries and are appealing for anyone who saw the incident to come forward.
