Teenager arrested
A teenager has been arrested following a serious assault in Shepton Mallet early yesterday morning. At around 6am on Thursday 29th August a 23 year old man was badly beaten with a bottle in an incident in Cowl Street.
The man was taken to hospital for treatment. This morning the Police arrested an 18 year old on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
