Hit and run update
At 8am this morning Avon & Somerset Police confirmed they had arrested a man following yesterdays hit and run. A 35-year-old man was been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and failing to stop at a road traffic collision. He has been released under investigation.
The incident happened on the A36 at Standerwick Cross on the Wiltshire border bear Frome at about 10am yesterday morning. The collision involved three vehicles – one of which left the scene without stopping.
The Police are still appealing for information. In particular they would like to hear from anyone who may have captured the collision on a dash cam.
