Lobby Fodder – how did your MP vote

Yesterday in the Commons there were a number of crucial votes that determined the progress of our future relationship with the European Union. We thought you might like to know how our Somerset MPs voted.
The first vote we took an interest in was the motion that would guarantee parliamentary time for a private member’s bill that would extend Article 50 if there was not a deal in place by 26th February. The motion was defeated by 321 votes (against) to 298 votes (for).
David Warburton (against)
Ian Liddell Grainger (against)
James Heappey (against)
Marcus Fysh (against)
Rebecca Pow (against)
The second vote we thought might be of interest was the proposal to require the Northern Ireland backstop to be replaced with alternative arrangements to avoid a hard border; support leaving the European Union with a deal and would therefore support the Withdrawal Agreement but subject to this change being made. The vote was won by 317 votes (in favour) to 301 votes (against)
David Warburton (for)
Ian Liddell Grainger (for)
James Heappey (for)
Marcus Fysh (for)
Rebecca Pow (for)
Finally there was a motion put to the house asking it to reject the possibility of the United Kingdom leaving the European Union without a Withdrawal Agreement and a Framework for the Future Relationship. In other words to reject a “no deal” departure. This was approved by 318 votes (in favour) to 310 votes (against)
David Warburton (against)
Ian Liddell Grainger (against)
James Heappey (against)
Marcus Fysh (against)
Rebecca Pow (against)
