Somerton assault
The Christmas period seems to have been filled with plenty of incidents this year. Avon & Somerset Police are now asking for help with an incident in Somerton. It happened just after midnight, Police think at around 12.15am on 22nd December. A man was standing outside the Unicorn Hotel on West Street when for no apparent reason he was hit in the face.
He was taken to hospital where he required treatment for a broken jaw.
The Police are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area or passing the Unicorn Hotel around the time of the incident who may have information to help our enquiries.
