Next week, from Monday 13th August we will be distributing copies of the August Leveller. In it we report on the state of Somerset County Council’s finances but also the quality of the financial reporting. We will show you some of the issues that have come to light and report back on what happened when we attended the SCC audit committee meeting.

However we promised to post online the full audit report written by SCC’s auditors Grant Thornton, so you can see for yourself what has been said and form your own judgement.
