Strikes to disrupt Train Services on Saturday 28 July

Following the strike by the RMT union on South Western Railway routes on Thursday 26th July, there will be another 24 hours strike tomorrow, Saturday 28th July.

Around 50% of the normal train services will run and they will provide longer trains to deliver additional seating

Once again passengers are strongly advised to check their journey before they travel

Whilst this will impact Somerset rail users on the Exeter – Crewkerne – Yeovil – Templecombe line, GWR have not announced similar disruption for their lines between Bristol and the South West or Taunton and Westbury. But traveller would be well advised to double check before travelling.
