Timetable changes
These are not words that given the news elsewhere in the country, will inspire a lot of comfort….
South West Railway tell us the times of most trains between Exeter and Salisbury will be changed between Tuesday 12th and Thursday 14th June due to engineering works. That means trains through Crewkerne, Yeovil Junction and Templecombe,
Network Rail engineering works to improve the flood defences at Cowley Bridge near Exeter are scheduled to take place between 12-14 June 2018. The work will increase the rail network’s resilience and reduce the impact of flooding on customers.
During the work, some Great Western Railway services will be diverted via Honiton. To facilitate this, South Western Railway will make a number of temporary changes to the timetable for services between Salisbury and Exeter. Customers using this route are strongly advised to check train times and how this may affect any onward travel plans before they travel.
The changes will not affect trains times between Salisbury and Waterloo.
