Consultation launched

We have covered the launch of the library consultation extensively already – but today is the official launch day of the consultation. Do bear in mind what is proposed for the library service:

12 libraries where there are no proposed changes include Bridgwater, Burnham-on-Sea, Chard, Frome, Glastonbury, Langport, Minehead, Taunton, Wells, Williton, Wincanton and Yeovil

15 libraries where community support may be required include Bishops Lydeard, Bruton, Castle Cary, Highbridge, Milborne Port, Nether Stowey, North Petherton, Porlock, Priorswood (Taunton), Somerton, South Petherton, Street, Sunningdale (Yeovil), Watchet and Wiveliscombe

7 libraries are highlighted in the proposals where they may remain unchanged or may require community support include Cheddar, Crewkerne, Dulverton, Ilminster, Martock, Shepton Mallet and Wellington

So with that in mind if you want to support your library – now is the time to get stuck in. Consultation forms will be available in the libraries over the next few weeks, if you feel comfortable doing it online – you can do so by following this link:
