Glastonbury Travellers
In our July edition we featured an article on the travellers site at Morlands, Glastonbury where Mendip District Council were seeking to enforce an eviction notice. A hearing was set at the County Court in Yeovil for July 17th at 3pm.
You may have read elsewhere that the listing was removed and not replaced for reasons unknown. Not true.
The facts are not actually that mysterious. Mendip District Council confirmed that the hearing didn’t take place on Monday 17th as the judge was unwell. It has been rescheduled for Monday 31st July listed for 11am.
