Langport Post Office still open
It is a bit of a sad note to finish on after all their years serving the community of Langport but Lynne and Jeff report that the Postbox outside Langport Post Office was vandalised last Thursday 23rd February. So if you need to post a letter, please either hand it over to them at the counter during opening hours or use another Postbox in the town (there is one in the market square outside English Homes)
You may have noticed a “To Let” sign in the Post Office window – they are STILL OPEN as per normal opening hours but will be closing at 1pm on 4th April. An official announcement will be made in a couple of weeks.
Lynne and Jeff would like their customers to come and see them before they go! And to tempt you in they have reductions on selected lines in the shop right now with more to follow over the next few weeks.
