Arrests follow Street burglary
We have noted in the past that the police can be extremely tardy in letting people know when a crime has been committed, and then asking for information. Who among you can really remember where you were and what you were doing a month ago?
So it is refreshing to see that when an appeal for information is made on a timely basis, as was the case with the recent incident involving a burglary at WH Smith in Street, the results can be good and speedy. Today we were notified by Avon and Somerset Police that two people have been apprehended. A 33-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of offences including aggravated burglary. They’ve been interviewed and released on bail until 6 March.
A good result under the circumstances.
