Attempted robbery in Martock
Avon & Somerset Police are appealing for witnesses following an attempted robbery of a woman in Martock. A man grabbed the victim’s handbag and tried to take it from her but she resisted and the man ran off empty handed.
The incident happened in the car park behind Moorlands Park Shopping Centre between 6.30pm and 6.45pm on Sunday 8th January.
The man is described as white, at least 6ft tall and of broad build. He was wearing a black hoodie and dark trainers with white soles. Anyone who recognises the description of the man, or who saw anything suspicious around the time of the incident, is asked to call 101 and give the call handler the reference 5217005268.
