A (bad?) planning decision in more detail

In the October Leveller we take a look at an important decision by the Planning Inspectorate in Bristol.  The decision was over an application to fill the gap between Wearne and Kelways Inn with a new housing estate.  The decision has been largely misunderstood and a lot of nonsense written about it being rejected on ground of sustainability. If that were the case it would be cause for celebration as it would mean the Inspectorate was taking note of the SSDC Local Plan and the wishes of local communities.

Sadly this is emphatically not the case as you will realise if you read all of the document. We have reproduced it here so you can do so. I make no apologies for the fact it is long winded and dry – I didn’t write it!
