Assault in Glastonbury
Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious assault in Glastonbury on Wednesday 14th September. The incident took place at approximately 2pm on the High Street.
A 32-year-old woman was assaulted and left with serious injuries. She remains in hospital in a stable condition. All police are saying at the moment is that they believe a weapon may have been used during the incident.
A 44-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. She has since been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Police urgently need to speak to anyone who was in the High Street at this time and may have witnessed the incident.
