Digital Somerset?
A ‘Connected Communities’ event is to be hosted on Thursday 28 April from 3.30pm until 6.30pm at Compton Dundon Village Hall. If you would like to better understand digital, seek strategies for supporting vulnerable members of your community, get help with your digital gadgets or understand how social media can help you make the most of the internet, this event is for you. It is targeted at village hall committees, parish councils and community groups and will offer you an opportunity to increase your knowledge of the use of digital tools to help many more communities in south Somerset get better connected through the effective use of digital tools.
Practical help will also be on hand from Cosmic, Get up to Speed, Barclays Digital Eagles, Yarlington Housing Group, Yeovil College, the Symphony Programme and South Somerset District Council.
