Avon & Somerset police are appealing for the public’s help with an historical investigation they are undertaking. It revolves around the former Brooklands Remand Home in Langport, which was a youth remand home.

Police are trying to contact one of the teachers – Mr Peckham – and would like him or anyone who knows of him to contact us. It is in relation to enquiries we are undertaking into an alleged assault which took place at the former remand home during the 1970s.
