Woman dies in house fire in Long Sutton
Police are appealing for witnesses following a fire at the Dower House in Long Sutton in which a woman died. Called to the incident at around 7.15pm yesterday police have been working at the scene throughout today alongside Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service.
Although the cause of the fire is still under investigation, but it is not being treated as suspicious at this stage. Formal identification of the victim has not yet taken place, although we believe it to be a woman in her sixties. We’re still trying to locate the woman’s next of kin.
