Champagne and toys – thieves strike in the Levels
If you’re offered vintage Champagne at a bargain price for a Christmas or New Year toast, be aware that 14 bottles of top quality fizz were stolen from the Crown and Victoria Inn at Tintinhull on Thursday night (18th December) or early on Friday morning. The theft included five bottles of Cristal, as well as Gruet Brut, Louis Roederer and Pol Roger with a value of more than £1,300.

Meanwhile police are hoping for information on a burglary that took place at the Tesco store in Langport on Sunday (21st December) at 7.40pm after the store closed for the evening.
After one offender broke in, it is thought that three copies of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare for both the PS3 and PS4, as well as copies of Football Manager for PC, three Oral-B Vitality toothbrushes and an unknown number of Transformers ‘blind bags’ toys were stolen. Have you been offered bargain computer games, toys or electric toothbrushes in the last couple of days?
